Based on Earth observation data taken from satellites of the Landsat program and using the capabilities of the cloud platform Google Earth Engine the geoinformation technology of spatial analysis of cloudiness in the territory of Western Ukraine has been created. The distribution of cloudiness in the region is presented and the influence of the mountain range of the Carpathian Mountains on the main parameters of cloudiness is analyzed. The distribution of cloudiness densities in Lviv and Zakarpattya provinces is shown.
The mathematical models for spatial analysis of GHG emission processes from pulp, paper, food products and beverages have been developed. Using geoinformation technology the estimates of GHG emissions in Poland at the level of production plants, as well as at the level of elementary areas 2 km 2 km in size have been obtained.
An approach for the vector format maps creation is presented. The relevant graphics primitives scaling-and-positioning algorithms were developed along with the functional requirements forming. The algorithms that digitize raster maps into the vector ones are described as well. The entire architecture of module for the creation of the vector format maps, intended to the specialized geographic information system is designed.
Mathematical models for the spatial analysis of the processes of greenhouse gases emission from the mining and transformation of coal in Poland were elaborated. The digital maps of mines’s and coking’s places were created. GIS technology, which makes it possible to form a geo-distributed database was improved and the necessary calculations were done. The obtained assessment of greenhouse gas emissions was represented by the digital thematic map.
