THE PROBLEM OF REPRESENTING THE ARCHITECTURAL AND URBAN PLANNING HERITAGE OF KALUSH IN THE MODERN ENVIRONMENT OF THE CITY

In this article we find out the historical value of town-building heritage on the territory of historic core of town Kalush, we also proved the hypothesis concerning the location of lost objects situated in the historic downtown, in this research we identify fragments of preserved elements of shape and planning city structure dated XV-XVIII century. While research process it was made the scheme including theoretical planning of the historic fortress of town Kalush for the period of XVII-XVIII century, this work was based on field surveys and collected source base.

TRENDS IN THE DESIGN AND BUILDING OF LVIV IN THE XIX-EARLY XX CENTURY

Housing, as the basis for the formation and life of a family, is one of the main indicators of the socio-economic state of society. Designing compact small-sized apartments makes it possible to provide the optimal number of families with comfortable housing in a short time. On the territory of Lviv, you can track the features of the development of apartments that had a compact size and were accessible to most. As a result of the study, it is possible to see the relationship between socio-cultural-economic space with the peculiarities of housing planning and its regularities.

TRENDS IN THE DESIGN AND BUILDING OF LVIV IN THE XIX-EARLY XX CENTURY

The central part of Lviv was formed over several centuries and in several stages. Favourable demographic, economic and political prerequisites in the XIX-XX centuries positively influenced the quantitative and qualitative state of urban homes. Demolition of defensive walls, the formation of a new citywide centre, measures to improve the central part of the city, regulate the street network, and increase the population are the main factors that underlie the planning and development of the city. The city was actively built up. Most of the houses were profitable.

The air channel function in real life – insulation against rising damp in historical buildings

The purpose of the research is to find adequate solution against rising damp in historical buildings. The improvement in this case is the use of ventilated air channels. A special group of historical buildings are churches because they do not use routines as for example museums, galleries. We designed 4 differently constructed ventilated air channels. These are: open or closed, with overpressure and underpressure. As a verification we use a relevance to these constructions which we simulated in software Ansys CFX the air flow of channels. We modelled the equal segments of the channels.
