FEATURES OF URBAN PLANNING SOLUTIONS AND THE EVOLUTION OF SETTLEMENTS FOR DISPLACED PERSONS FROM THE CHERNOBYL ZONE

In the article, the author presents the results of her full-scale studies of the evolution of settlements for migrants from the Chernobyl zone, built in 1986-1987 of the twentieth century. Strategies and consequences of their placement, integration into the structure of existing villages, features of planning blocks, rural estates, residential and outbuildings are considered. The article analyzes the consequences of architectural and urban planning design decisions made 30 years after their implementation.

UKRAINIAN VILLAGE EVOLUTIONARY TRENDS

An analysis of performed field and theoretical research on the subject of socio-economic and urban development of the Ukrainian countryside in the XXI century is represented. and related transformations of settlement areas and rural farmstead. The socio-economic preconditions for the emergence and functioning of each type of village and farmstead are presented. 5 main types of rural settlements and estates are distinguished by dominant functional features on the basis of 2 components: rural-landscape and agricultural profile of the villagers:

SOCIAL RESULTS OF IDEOLOGICALLY ORIENTED URBAN REFORM IN RURAL VILLAGES OF UKRAINE

It is considered the main ideologically motivated urban reforms that the Ukrainian village underwent in the twentieth century during the socialist era, in the field of standardization of the area of land plots for rural estates. It is also analysed the implementation of these reforms in master plans and Хdetailed planning of rural settlements in Ukraine and, as a consequence, how these reforms affected agricultural production, social and demographic structure of rural population, the structure of households and life and psychology of peasants in general.
