Military Law in the Legal System of Ukraine: Conceptual Dimensions

The article defines the theoretical, methodological and practical principles of military law as a separate branch of law and clarifies its place and role in the legal system of Ukraine. It was determined that military law is a system of universally binding norms, formally defined rules of conduct in the military-public sphere, which are established, protected and provided by the state and regulate social relations related to the activities of the military organization of society and are aimed at ensuring the protection of the state, sovereignty, territorial integrity.

International and National Legal Guarantees for the Realisation of the Right to Life and Health Protection

This article analyzes the norms of international and national legislation concerning the right of individuals to life and health protection, through the lens of their practical implementation.

The study identifies the positive and negative aspects of the legislative regulation of the right to protection, examines the reasons for states’ non-compliance with certain international legal treaties, and offers several remarks on the effectiveness and feasibility of the established legal provisions.

The article analyzes the social security of internally displaced persons. Based on the analysis of current legislation and modern scientific research, a definition of the concept of «internally displaced persons» is proposed. The causes of forced migration and their impact on the social security of internally displaced persons in Ukraine are indicated. Namely, due to the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, a large number of Ukrainian citizens were forced to move, saving their own lives, which led to forced migration, both external and internal.
