Experimental determination strained condition of elongated cylindrical shell caused by the interaction of the support roller

The strained condition of a cylindrical shell structure in interaction with the support roller is analyzed in order to justify the lifting device parameters for the maintenance of bearings of overground passages of trunk pipelines. Experimental values of circular strains that occur in the places of rollers’ contact with the elongated cylindrical shell are given and compared with the calculated values. 

Analysis of forced vibrations metal mast lifting device

The analysis of forced vibrations of the mast metal construction of the building lifting device is performed in this article; the finite element method is applied in this process. The amplitude-frequency characteristics of the mast were formed by using theoretical and experimental investigations of oscillatory phenomena in the driving system of the lifting device.
