Conceptual foundations of bureaucratic management in the works of Ludwig von Mises
The theory of bureaucracy of Ludwig von Mises is considered. The differences between L. Mises’ and M. Weber’s approaches to the modelling of bureaucratic interaction are presented. The article demonstrates potential of clear differentiation of market and bureaucratic management mechanisms for critical rethinking of the new public management and its relevance for the analysis and planning of administrative reforms.
