Information System for Determining Noise Level on Selected Streets of Lviv

This paper presents the outcomes of an experimental investigation into the equivalent noise levels of selected streets in Lviv according to varying times of day. Empirical mathematical models, formulated from the experimental data, provide a method to predict noise levels based on the time of day. In addition, the study includes the development of an information system. This system allows analysis of the changes in equivalent noise levels attributable to traffic flows at different times of day.

Comparative Characteristics of the Functional Possibilities of the Computer Mathematics Systems in the Process for Solving Tasks

The comparative analysis of the most common systems of computer mathematics is made and their structure is described. The main functions of the systems of computer mathematics are determined and benefits and disadvantages of using the systems Derive, Mathematika, Matlab, Mathcad, Maple, MuPad, Gran, GeoGebra are directed. The Ukrainian software tool Gran is described which is used for graphical analysis of functions (Gran1), the systems of geometrical objects on the plane (Gran-2D) and objects in space (Gran-3D).

Modeling and Increasing the Efficiency of Scanning Antennas on the Linear Arrays Basis

The modeling of linear antenna arrays, which ensure scanning of the direction of the main petal in one of the planes, has been conducted. It has been shown that when changing the direction of their radiation, the value of the coefficient directional antenna action substantially changes. The causes of the specified disadvantage occurrence have been reviewed and the ways of eliminating, which are protected by the proposed patents, have been depicted.

The system maopcs for the multivariate analysis and optimization of linear parametric circuits at the enviroment of matlab

This paper considers the software realization the system of functions MAOPCs (Multivariate Analysis and Optimization of the Parametric Circuits) for multivariate analysis and optimization of linear parametric circuits based on frequency symbolic method. This method is based on the formation of the approximated transfer functions of linear parametric circuits in the form of Fourier trigonometric polynomials.

Cdma2000 channel modeling based on the gilbert–elliot algorithm within urban infrastructure

Any radio channel transferring information is a subject to data corruption. Especially it's important for 3G mobile networks that use  high frequency carrier wave and significantly increased data rate in channel.  In this case data loss prediction mechanism gives a lot of opportunities for new network designing as well as for existed network improvement. Statistically a communication channel with error processes can be modelled regarding to one of the predefined patterns which describe particular environment influence on measured parameters of transferred data with a sufficient accuracy.

Determination of Acceptable Parameters Area in Modified Detector of Quadrature Phase Shift Keying Signals

This paper describes the Matlab simulation results of receiving signals with quadrature modulation, such as OQPSK, using modified phase detector. As the result, the ber-to-snr diagrams were presented for modified and classical detector. The conclusions about its effectiveness were made. There are new methods of modulation signals that allow effective use of the frequency band, and communication systems (eg. trunking) that can effectively distribute the network traffic.

Метод формального визначення якості допису на спеціалізованих сайтах

Post quality assessing algorithm based on the set of chosen parameters is considered in the article. To solve the problem the following next instruments will be used: Java library called Jsoup for HTML-code parsing, and Matlab tools for building the decision tree for post quality assessing.
