Problems of waste management in the pharmaceutical industry (review)
The overview of technologies of utilization and processing of medical waste is presented. The classification of pharmaceutical and medical wastes and ways of reducing the environmental impact of pharmaceutical wastes are researched. The environmental impact of medical waste were analyzed. With the increase of medicines in all countries of the world, the possibility of medical and pharmaceutical waste getting into the environment and water bodies is increasing, so the solution to this problem is very urgent. The block diagram of utilization of expired medicines is presented.
