REVIEW SOME OF NON-DESTRUCTIVE METHODS FOR PHYSICAL AND MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS TESTING OF THE MATERIAL OF ROCKET BARRELS AND ARTILLERY SYSTEMS

Barrels of missile and artillery systems during intensive operation are exposed to high temperatures, alternating loads, and corrosive aggressive environments. These effects lead to rapid degradation of the metal, changes in its structure, the appearance of intergranular corrosion, microcracks, and changes in the physical and mechanical properties of the material as a whole. The combined effect of the above factors leads to the inability of the structure to withstand operating parameters and its rapid destruction.

The modern state of approaches to monitoring the technical condition of wind turbine blades us-ing information technologies

Nowadays wind energy is one of the most important and promising sources of environmentally clean renewable energy. Wind turbine blades are among the most expensive components. Depending on the size, their manufacturing costs range between 10 % and 20 % of total manufacturing costs. Moreover, the size of blades has increased in recent years, leading to greater efficiency and energy production, but presenting higher failure probability.
