THE GARDEN CITY CONCEPT: FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT IN POLAND DURING THE FIRST QUARTER OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY
The article examines the formation and development of the garden city concept in Poland during the first quarter of the twentieth century. The experience of Polish architecture and urbanism in the context of the garden city idea before the First World War and in the first postwar years is highlighted. Examples of realized Polish garden cities, the activities of both individual figures and entire societies and organizations that promoted the garden city concession are described.
