The NMR Study of the Latex Extracted from Brosimum Parinarioides

In this work we used high-resolution nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) to identify the major compounds present in the Natural latex named Leite de Amapá, which is extracted from Brosimum paranarioides tree. To do it 1D 1H and 13C NMR spectra and DEPT techniques were employed. The analysis of spectral data showed that this latex is principally constituted by cis-isoprene, saturated and unsaturated fatty acids and triacylglycerides esters.
