Ancient maps remain understudied documents that contain specific spatial information about the state of the mapped territory. One such document is Rudolf Ritter von Otto's 1772 map, specifically its sheet (Litt: I. No: 9), which depicts the city of Lviv and its surroundings. This map has served and will continue to serve as an object of interdisciplinary research by historians, geographers, architects, and urban planners.

ARCHITECTURE OF ROMANTIC PALACES OF THE LVIV REGION XIX - BEGINNING OF XX CENT. (FOR EXAMPLE THE PALACE OF STRAHOCKI IN MOSTYSKA)

The palaces of the romantic style, built in the Lviv region in the XIX - early twentieth century, included a number of architectural and landscape elements that created a unique and harmonious ensemble. Today, practically there are no objects that completely preserved their original appearance. Architectural and landscape-compositional features of such ensembles remain undervalued and require professional attention. It is important to analyze their current function to determine the prospects for their further use, restoration and rational conservation.
