Basic Principles of Regulation of Family Legal Relations in Ukraine and the Usa: Comparative Analysis

The article notes that family law is an important component of the legal system of any state, as it regulates relations between family members, including issues of marriage, divorce, child custody, alimony and other aspects related to family relations. This work compares the family law of Ukraine and the United States, highlighting key differences and common features, as well as their impact on the practice of family relations. The article examines the foundations of family law in both countries, in particular the codes that regulate family relations.

It wasfound that Ukraine has ratified and implementsthe norms of international legislation related to the protection of children’s rights, in particular, by means of criminal law. Сonsequently, the main focus of the exploration is on identifying legal arguments to confirm or wave aside the provisions of professional ethics which regulate the activities of international and Ukrainian journalists in the preparation of materials concerningchildren.
