The Main Forms of the Influence of Military Conflicts on Climate Change: On the Example of Russian-Ukrainian War

The article analyses the influence of military conflicts on climate change. The author argues that the relationship between military conflicts and climate change is bilateral: on the one hand, the cause of military conflicts may be climate changes; on the other hand, military conflicts have a negative inflyence on the environment, causing climate change.

STRENGTHENING THE MILITARY POTENTIAL OF THE BUCHAREST NINE STATES IN THE CONTEXT OF THE RUSSIAN-UKRAINIAN WAR (Review Article)

The article focuses on strengthening the military potential of the Bucharest Nine (B9) states in the context of the russia's war in Ukraine. The authors clarify the reasons and goals of the consolidation of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe for cooperation within the framework of the Bucharest format. Prerequisites for changes in defense spending within NATO are described, namely, the russian-Ukrainian war. The reaction of the North Atlantic Alliance to Russia's armed attack on Ukraine is studied, in particular after the full-scale russian invasion.

Strategic course of Ukraine in the context of modern security threats

The article identifies key aspects of the development of actions for Ukraine's membership in the European community. It outlines a number of current threats to the country's security, proves that Ukraine's economic development today is at a low level due to deepening military conflicts, declining key indicators of socio-economic development and intensifying economic crisis and pandemic, resulting in protracted European integration.

Emotionality and Intertextuality in Official Discourses of Post-Soviet Authoritanian States (Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Russia) [Research Article]

Official discourses of Kazakhstan, Belarus and Russia are discovered with formal analysis in the article. The official discourses were represented with presidents’ web-sites. With the help of computer programs (Python language) the indicators of emotionality, direct and indirect intertextuality were calculated. The low emotionality and direct intertextuality are characteristic features of all three discourses. This underlines low intensity (or formality) of political interrelations. Average indicators of Kazakhstan and Russia discourses emotionality are (0,26; 0,24), for Belarus (0,39).

Russian information war against Ukraine: peculiarities and mechanisms of countering (Review Article)

The article deals with the problem of Russian information war against Ukraine. The authors explain the primary sense of the information war, its interpretation in the framework of wide and narrow approaches. Basing on the use of historic, systemic and structural-functional methods, the main disadvantages of the information sphere of Ukraine and the central mechanisms of its protection are identified. The tools of counteraction to the Russian information war against Ukraine are divided into two groups: legislative and institutional.
