Запропоновано схему взаємодії технічних засобів служби підтримки якості обслуговування (QоS), що здатна забезпечити функціонування телекомунікаційної мережі згідно з правилами системи диференційованого обслуговування з гарантованим сервісом (ДОГС).

A scheme describing the interaction of hardware components supporting the service quality is suggested that enables telecommunications network operation in compliance with the rules of the differentiated care system with guaranteed service.

Assessment of the service quality in public transport (analysis of research in Lviv, Ukraine)

The paper assesses the quality of public transport services and the influence of individual components on the value of the overall satisfaction level with transport services. Public transport has many benefits in terms of energy savings, environmental impact, social equity and urban economy. The analysis of existing research confirms that the quality of service provided by the public transport system affects the intentions of potential passengers to use it more.

Calculation of average time of packet delay in the storage buffer of a single-channel system with self-similar traffic

First step for the calculation of service quality characteristics in a single-channel packet communication system is to estimate the Hurst exponent for self-similar traffic, after which, according to the well-known Norros formula, the average number of packets in the system N is calculated.
