ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE RECLAMATION OF SOLID WASTE LANDFILLS

The main stages of the reclamation of solid waste landfills have been considered. The processes that limit ensuring the ecological safety of reclamation have been identified. In particular, three stages that may be hazardous for the environment have been highlighted: leachate treatment, preparation of soil or substrate for biological reclamation, and preparation of seeds and planting material. Leachate treatment by the aeration method in an aerated lagoon is recommended. The prospect of using such a process has been investigated in laboratory conditions.

THE USE OF BIOINDICATION TO DETERMINE THE POSSIBILITY OF SLUDGE RECOVERY AFTER BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT OF WASTEWATER

These studies were conducted to test the hypothesis that sewage sludge from Lviv municipal wastewater treatment plants (LMWWTP) facilities can be used to create a substrate that can be used for biological reclamation. The qualitative composition of sewage sludge from Lviv municipal wastewater treatment plants is determined. The study of bioindication of a mixture of sludge with dark gray soil was carried out in two stages, which showed a significant difference between fresh and settled sludge. Possible conditions for the use of sludge in the substrate are presented.

Modelling of resources accumulation and their operational control in biotechnological, biomedical, and web information systems

The aim of this work is to build a structure of a mathematical model for resource accumulation and their operational control in biotechnological, biomedical and Web information systems for the in-depth studies of their common properties. For the first time ever a concept of the models for the mentioned processes is proposed as a system of differential equations. The equations describe the dynamics of state variables, of a substrate and of a product of the processes being analysed.
