The article presents the results of research on the technological process of manufacturing boxes made of binding board. One of the most popular materials for producing boxes and packaging is cardboard, which differs in its physical characteristics depending on the specific application area. When choosing cardboard, it is crucial to consider the physical properties of the raw material and the technological specifics of its processing.

In recent years, the coffee market has undergone significant transformations, driven by changes in consumer preferences, packaging technologies, and global development trends. Due to high competition, manufacturers are increasingly paying attention not only to the quality of the product but also to its visual design, which directly influences the buyer’s decision.

The article is devoted to the study of the current state and prospects of implementation into national legislation of the normative provisions of the European Union in the field of waste management, in particular the Directive of the European Parliament and the Council «On packaging and packaging waste» (1994, December 20) № 94/62/EU.
