HARMONIZATION OF THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS: CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS
Harmonization of the urban environment in residential areas is a strategic task of modern urban planning that requires an integrated systematic approach. Lviv, as a city with an established historical structure, demonstrates a complex of specific challenges in the transformation process of residential environments. A representative example is the residential area along Hrynchenka Street, formed in the 1970–1990s, which includes diverse building typologies – 12–14-story brick buildings, 9-story panel buildings, and 5-story apartment buildings.
