water cooling system

Change in sediments of hydraulic structures during unloading of the system of water cooling of nuclear power plants

During the period from July to November 1985, three cycles of measurements of sediments of hydraulic engineering structures of Blocks 1 and 2 were carried out at the Rovenskoye NPP according to the methodology set forth in [1, 2]. The measurements are performed by high-precision leveling in a constant circuit [2]. Three cycles of measurements consisted of four level moves between three deep benchmarks for sediment marks of the unit pump station (NPS), pumping station of cooling towers (NSG), two high-altitude cooling towers (G1 and G2).
