The article is sanctified to the analysis of the personal touches of one of the most progressive penitentiaries of the world – Vestre Fængsel of the City of Copenhagen (Denmark). The questions related to it’s origin are considered, the personal touches of the mode of the last are investigational. Separate attention concentrated on the problems of legal status of convicts that leave punishment for this penal colony.
