The article describes technological aspects of creating Digital Terrain Model from LiDAR data for the needs of US flood protecting agencies based on the order compiled by Tukaj Mapping Central Europe in Krakow, Poland. A brief characterising of the LiDAR technology was made, and described some production aspects of the LiDAR data processing. Examples of obtained accuracies were given.
