The development of traditional planimetric-oriented GIS into spatial GIS becomes very important for large amount of occupational branches of science. It causes a demand for spatial data models for calculations, analysis and virtualisation. Realisation of multifunctional spatial GIS is a complicated technical and conceptual problem, which demands a lot of money for establishment. Preparation of new spatial- structured data requires especially big financial and time expenses. This article outlines problems and methods of projecting 3D GIS, in particular geometric model of data.
