In this report, the author considers the life and academic activity of Ukrainian scholar Vyacheslav Zaikyn. He lived and wrote for many years from the outer border of his country. Vyacheslav Zaikyn is an important scholar for the history of Ukrainian philosophy. The author analyzes Vyacheslav Zaikyn’s work on the systematization of the history of Ukrainian philosophy. This attempt of the Ukrainian scholar was the very first one among Ukrainian scholars, who investigated the history of Ukrainian philosophy.
