The paper studied the wear process, as all mechanical cutting process is accompanied by this phenomenon. The process of wear is a complex phenomenon and is of interest to model the process and increase understanding of the wear of cutting tools. This paper presented a model that is considered most appropriate to the experimental parameters, this wear by Usui. This model describes the rate and amount of wear on the tool depending on cutting parameters.
