ADAPTIVE RECONFIGURATION INTERVAL SELECTION METHOD FOR NFV-BASED MOBILE OPERATOR NETWORKS
This paper is devoted to the problem of efficient and reliable resource management in mobile operator core networks implemented using Network Function Virtualization, with a particular focus on determining when reconfiguration of virtualized network functions should be performed. The task addressed in the paper is the development of a method for adaptive selection of the reconfiguration interval that balances the conflicting requirements of resource efficiency, quality of service guarantees, and operational overhead caused by frequent reconfigurations.
