Synthesis, Characterization and Photophysical Study of 4,4’-Diamino-2,2’-stilbenedisulfonate with Lanthanide Ions Complexes

Complex of 4,4’-diamino-2,2’-stilbenedisulfonic acid (DSD) with trivalent lanthanide ions Eu3+ and Tb3+ were prepared at the ratio of 3:1 (DSD:Ln). The complexes with ions present in the form of powder show black (Eu3+) and brown (Tb3+) colors. The complexometric titration and CHN elemental analysis suggest that these complexes have the general formula Eu(C14H12N2SO3SO3H)3∙3H2O and Tb(C14H12N2SO3SO3H)2(CF3SO3)∙3H2O.

Spectrophotometric Study of the Interaction of Platinum(IV) with New Derivatives of Azolidones

The interaction of Pt(IV) ions with the new derivatives of azolidones by spectrophotometric method was investigated. The spectrophotometric method for the determination of Pt(IV) using 5-hydroxyimino-4-imino-1,3-thiazolidine-2-one at pH 5.0 in acetate buffer medium was elaborated. The proposed method was tested by determination of Pt(IV) in model solutions and metallic alloy.

Spectrophotometric Determination of Ni2+, Co3+, Fe2+, Cu2+ Concentrations with 1-(2-Pyridylazo)-2-Naphthol in Aqueous-Micellar Medium Based on two Intensive Parameters

Results comparison was performed within the terms of multi-component analysis for light absorption arrays processed using the method of consecutive separation of graduation surface (MCSGS), developed by the authors, with other methods of pseudo-one-dimensional processing. Determination of Ni2+, Co3+, Fe2+, Cu2+ ion concentrations with 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol in aqueous-micellar medium on two-dimensional absorption spectra of wave length by pH coordinates were performed.

Specrophotometric Investigation of Palladium(II) Ions Interaction with 5-Hydroxyimino-4-imino-1,3-thiazolidin-2-one

The interaction of Pd(II) ions with 5-hydroxyimino-4-imino-1,3-thiazolidin-2-one (HITO) in water solution has been investigated. The optimum conditions of the complexation for the complex of palladium(II) with 5-hydroxyimino-4-imino-1,3-thiazolidin-2-one were found. The composition of еру complex was determined. The method of spectrophotometric determination of palladium(II) ions with HITO was developed.
