MIX DESIGN AND LABORATORY COMPACTION METHODS OF RCCP – A REVIEW

This article analyzes the difficulties in reproducing the actual circumstances of concrete compaction with rollers in the laboratory and mix design аfeatures of RCCP (Roller Compacted Concrete Pavement). While quick and straightforward, the Proctor compaction test may not adequately reflect the field compaction achieved with rollers. Gyratory compactors simulate the movement of the rollers, providing a more realistic situation with greater accuracy.

Kinetics of Diffusion Mass Transfer during Filtration Drying of Grain Materials

The work deals with theoretical and experimental investigations concerning coefficient of moisture pore diffusion from grain during filtration drying. To determine the coefficient of pore diffusion the model was used basing on the solution of differential equation under boundary conditions of the first type. The estimated dependence of the coefficients on heat agent temperature was obtained.

Intradiffusion Mass Transfer during Drying of Slag Gravel Raw Granule

Intradiffusion mass transfer during drying of a single raw granule of slag gravel has been investigated. The physical model of moisture distribution in the single particle during its drying in the second period has been suggested. The process of intradiffusion mass transfer during drying slag gravel raw granule has been described mathematically. The effect of intradiffusion coefficient on the temperature has been studied.
