MODERN RUSSIAN MUSIC AS A TOOL FOR THE SPREAD OF PRO-RUSSIAN NARRATIVES: FEATURES AND WAYS OF COUNTERACTION FROM UKRAINE

Over the course of two years of full-scale war, numerous studies demonstrate that a portion of Ukraine’s population still maintains an interest in Russian-language musical products. This has a particularly negative impact on the consciousness of such citizens and supports the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. Through the monetization of music streaming on various platforms, funds flow into Russia’s budget, which it then uses to purchase weapons for its war against Ukraine. Music is enjoyed by different generations of people, regardless of age, status, or nationality.

Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine has shaken stability and peace in the world. The daily destruction of infrastructure as a result of enemy shelling, the deaths of military and civilians, missile terror and other events at the front pose a threat not only to Ukraine but to the entire world. That is why this topic is in the field of view of all quality media in Ukraine and other countries, especially the United States. After all, it is America that is our main partner and actively assists in the fight against the enemy.

INFORMATION GENRES OF MEDIA CONTENT IN THE STRUCTURE OF COMMUNICATION INNOVATIONS

Information genres as a platform for journalistic research are considered. The development of information genres in modern socio-economic realities is analyzed. It is hypothesized that with the capitalization of journalism, the possibilities of interviews and its varieties are expanded. Both interviews and reporting in modern capitalized media complement each other and help to optimize the presentation of content.

SCIENTIFIC VS ENTERTAINMENT CONTENT IN UKRAINIAN ENVIRONMENTAL TV DISCOURSE: PROBLEMS AND FEATURES

The article explores the coverage of topics of ecology in the news programs of Ukrainian television. Based on the study of news releases on the all-Ukrainian TV channel “1+1” and the specialized TV channel “ECO TV”, it emphasizes the importance of media discourse for the promotion of ecological knowledge in order to form a general environmental culture, environmental awareness and pro-ecological behavior. In general, there is a segment of scientific content in the modern Ukrainian environmental discourse, but its volume is insignificant compared to entertainment.

The use of social networks as an information source in journalistic work is considered. Recently, sites such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram have become part of the traditional sources for journalists to obtain material about current events, the public’s assessments and opinions, government activity, etc. At present, social networks are integrated into the ordinary professional practice of collecting news and facts, which means including them into the structure of sources for journalistic work.
