The problem of method in architecture, as a subject of research, always appears as a result of the development of artistic life and new aesthetic needs. Each new stage of artistic development reveals the insufficiency of the previous one not because it has become irrational, but because it no longer corresponds to new ideas about social relations and the nature of the human activity.
