BEHAVIOR OF POLISH CONSUMERS ON THE FINANCIAL MARKET IN THE LIGHT OF RESEARCH RESULTS IN THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE

Purpose – Financial literacy plays an increasingly important role in the formation of vital skills of the population. The ability to correctly understand and use financial services is already an integral part of the knowledge of an adult. Because of this, measuring the level of financial literacy plays an important social role. The aim of this article is to analyze market behavior and consumer knowledge on the financial market in the light of scientific achievements and own research.

APPROACHES TO INCREASE THE LEVEL OF FINANCIAL AND ECONOMIC LITERACY OF UKRAINIANS USING BUSINESS JOURNALISM

According to the results of an empirical study using a sociological survey method, it was established that Ukrainians are oriented towards receiving information from various digital platforms (92 %). Business topics in the structure of daily information consumption take third place according to the recognition of 43 % of respondents, military (69 %) and entertainment (50 %) are more popular. It was found that more than 91 % of respondents have little or limited knowledge of financial literacy and only 3 % of 138 respondents feel knowledgeable and prepared.

Typology of Factors of Formation of Models of Credit and Investment Policy in the National Economy

The article considers the approaches to defining the concept of «credit and investment policy» and the factors influencing the formation of models of credit and investment policy in the national economy. The authors typologize all factors of influence in five groups: institutional, economic, socio- psychological, infrastructural and technological. The authors propose to include the following factors to the technological group: the share of non-cash transactions, the number of broadband Internet users and the level of use of information and communication technologies.
