Determining and analysis of azimuthal coefficients qi for the seismically active region of Transcarpathians
Purpose. The aim of the paper is to calculate and analyze the azimuth coefficients qi for velocity of seismic waves propagation in real media in the three upper layers which fit the source depth of local earthquakes in the Transcarpathian seismic active region. Methodology. In order to calculate the value of x a problem of finding the point of boundary intersection of the first layer by a P-wave for double-layer medium (similar calculations can be made for the S-wave) is solved and an equation of the fourth degree is obtained.
