The article outlines the peculiarities of the development of the interaction between the subjects of the codification of national labor legislation. It is noted that the level of effective implementation of rights by employees and employers also determines the nature of the interaction between the subjects of the codification of labor legislation, which arises in connection with the process of implementation of the constitutional right to work by citizens.

The article defines the content of the principles, tasks and features of the codification of national labor legislation to international legal standards in the context of European integration.

The article analyzes the problem of codification of labor legislation of Ukraine as a special form of systematization of law. It is determined that the codification of labor legislation is characterized by the following features: it is the activity of competent state bodies, ie state activity, the result of which must be properly authorized and enforced by legal instruments agreed in a single mechanism for implementing this result.
