Pavlo Tutkovsky – one of the founders of Ukrainian academy of sciences and the founder of research institute of geology
Pavlo Tutkovsky is a universally recognized and authoritative classic of the Ukrainian and world geology. He has published over 1350 scientific works, covering a wide range of the problems of general and quarternary geology, hydrogeology, petrography, biostratigrafication, as well as of geography, and cartography. The main aspects of activity of Pavlo Tutkovsky, connected with founding of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, are described.
