THE ROLE OF BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING TECHNOLOGIES IN ARCHITECTURAL EDUCATION

The article provides a detailed analysis of the role of building information technologies in the professional training of first-level (bachelor’s) degree students in the 191 "Architecture and Urban Planning" program at the Institute of Architecture and Design, Lviv Polytechnic National University. Special attention is paid to the study of the role of modern technologies in shaping the key skills and professional competencies of future architects.

Architecture of Intellectual System for Research of Space Weather Parameters

Has been carried out analysis of the subject area and main functions of the intellectual system for research of space weather parameters are identified. The model of static structure of intellectual system is developed as well as its dynamic aspects are modeled. Also is constructed an architecture of intellectual system for research of space weather parameters on the basis of “client-server” two-level model. The scientific novelty of the obtained results stands on developed model of the intellectual system for research of space weather parameters.

GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING SYSTEM

This article reveals the problems of creating a monitoring system to assess the ecological state of the environment of the selected area. An information model of the system has been developed, which takes into account the parameters of air, surface water, and soil pollution. The main components of the system, including the logical model of the database, have been designed and implemented. To assess the state of the environment according to the selected pollution parameters, the fuzzy logic model is constructed.

METHODS FOR DETERMINATION OF DEFORMATIONS WITH THE USE OF DIGITAL IMAGE CORRELATION TECHNOLOGIES

In order to obtain reliable information about the stress-strain state of the structure, subjected to loading, it is necessary to determine deformations` distribution. In some cases, it is almost impossible to assess stress-strain state with the traditional approaches. However, the DIC methods provide reliable information about the fields of displacement and deformation almost without limitations. Such approaches are rather effective for determination of the stress-strain state on smooth surfaces and in zones with stress concentrators.
