obtained his engineering degree in Automation of Technological Processes and Production at Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas in 1994, followed by Candidate of technical sciences in Computer Systems and Components in 2000 and Doctor of technical sciences in Computer Systems and Components in 2016 at Lviv Polytechnic National University. With over 20 years of experience in higher education, he has held various positions, including associate professor roles at Ternopil Academy of National Economy and Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, where he later served as a professor focusing on Computer Technologies in Control Systems and Automation. Stepan has also led departments at institutions such as Galician Academy of Management and Economics, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, and King Danylo University, before working on his current position as professor and head of department for Computer Systems and Networks chair at Ivano- Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas in 2019.
