Technical and economic parameters optimization of the rotating half transformer for wind turbines of various powers
For the proposed non-traditional design of autonomous contra-rotating wind turbine with vertical axis of rotation (VAWT) applies a special transformer with rotating half (TRH) for the purpose of noncontact transmission and regulation of electricity generated. The predicted market value of the new device is defined using the method of expert evaluation. Technical and economic optimization of design parameters of the transformer have been performed for a number of power of autonomous contra-rotating VAWT.
