Розглянуто проблему моніторингу комп’ютерної мережі за умов обмежень на використання системних ресурсів та високих вимог до живучості системи моніторингу. Розроблено автономну децентралізовану систему моніторингу комп’ютерної мережі, яка складається з колективу програмних агентів. Кожний агент може працювати в двох режимах: основному режимі та режимі консолі управління системою моніторингу. В основному режимі агент збирає інформацію про комп'ютерну мережу.
