SunGel-2026 Workshop on Smart Technologies and Sustainable System Innovation

The International Workshop on Smart Technologies for Sustainable Systems (SunGel-2026) will be held in Lviv, Ukraine, on March 26–27, 2026, in conjunction with the 3rd International Conference on Smart Automation & Robotics for Future Industry (SMARTINDUSTRY-2026). The workshop is planned as a dissemination-focused event linked to the SunGel project collaboration between Kingston University (UK) and Istanbul Technical University (Turkey).

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

The workshop provides a platform for researchers, academics, and stakeholders to exchange knowledge and discuss project-related advances in smart and sustainable technologies. Its thematic focus includes renewable energy-related systems, system performance characterisation, and sustainability assessment approaches.

Within the SunGel project scope, planned discussions and presentations may address advanced solar technology development and characterisation, modular system concepts for water purification.
The workshop also supports knowledge sharing, networking, and future collaboration across research and innovation communities, in line with the project’s dissemination, stakeholder engagement, and capacity-strengthening activities, which include workshops, seminars, training, and conference-based dissemination.
