PRODUCTION OF HYDROCARBON RESINS BY INITIATED OLIGOMERIZATION OF C5 AND C9 FRACTIONS – BY-PRODUCTS OF STRAIGHT-RUN GASOLINE PYROLYSIS
The results of an experimental study of the oligomerization process of a mixture of unsaturated hydrocarbons of fractions C5 and C9, initiated by organic peroxide compounds, are presented. These fractions are formed as non-target products during the pyrolysis of straight-run gasoline in the production of ethene. The influence of the main technological parameters - reaction temperature and duration, type and concentration of the initiator, as well as the mass ratio of hydrocarbons [C5 fraction] : [C9 fraction] - on the yield and properties of the obtained resin was analyzed.
