AGGLOMERATION PROCESSES OF BALANCED DEVELOPMENT OF SUBURBAN AREAS OF LARGE UKRAINIAN CITIES

The article is a result of an analytical research on development of relations between the
city and suburban area. An attempt to define main factors that may be included into a future
strategy of balanced development and to avoid a number of problems in the organization of group
forms of settlement in the big cities' influence zone. The decentralization processes in the
governance system constitute the social and economic potential for creation of a system of
common interests in development, and not for destruction of both cities and suburban area.

EVOLUTION OF THE TERRITORY EXPANSION CONCEPT OF THE LVIV CITY CENTER IN THE URBAN PROJECTS OF XX - EARLY XXI CENTURY

The city center of Lviv was formed in the early XX century as a holistic ensemble that included medieval downtown, a system of broad boulevards and green spaces, which had been created in the site of demolished fortification walls around a city center and the densely built-up adjacent blocks of the former suburbs.

The city area has more than quadrupled during the past hundred years: in 1914 – 32 square km; in 1931 – 66 square km; in 1959 – 78 square km; in 1989 – 118 square km and the population has more than tripled – from 222000 habitants in 1914 to 732000 habitants in 2008.

Geoinformation technology of the master plan geospecial profile data sets development

Purpose. The purpose of the research is development of an object-oriented geoformation model of settlements master plans geospatial profile data sets. The topicality of the research is due to the need to meet the current requirements of the legislation on the development of geospatial profile data sets as, considering the importance part of master plan documentation of increasing the level of automation and level of master plan digital data quality for their further effective use in the urban cadastre system. Methodology.
