The editorial board of the journal informs authors that they bear full personal responsibility for improper citations or the use of research results of other individuals and for compliance with the ethics of scientific citation. Only original materials that have not been previously published are accepted for publication.
Authors must ensure:
- the originality of submitted articles, meaning materials that have not been published in other journals in any language;
- the absence of plagiarism;
- proper references to relevant sources when works or texts of third parties are used.
The journal uses the software “Strikeplagiarism” to control and detect textual similarity in submitted manuscripts. The percentage of plagiarism is calculated using software that checks documents for similarities both in local databases and on the Internet.
The obtained report is analyzed by the editorial board.
The editorial board analyzes all identified cases of plagiarism and reserves the right to reject a manuscript from the review process. Scientific works submitted to the journal are assessed according to the following criteria:
- if the originality of the manuscript exceeds 85% – the material is accepted for consideration;
- if the originality is between 75% and 85% – the manuscript is returned to authors for revision with a recommendation to review textual borrowings and resubmit the revised article;
- below 75% – the manuscript is not accepted for consideration;
- more than 3% plagiarism from a single source is not allowed.
Plagiarism in all its forms is unacceptable and is considered unethical behavior and a violation of professional conduct norms in the relationships between authors, reviewers, editors, publishers, and readers, contradicting the provisions of the section Publication Ethics. If textual borrowing is identified after publication, the editorial board conducts a thorough analysis. The journal’s editorial board will contact the author and inform them about the circumstances that have arisen.
