Complaint Procedure

The editorial board of the journal ‘Achievements in Cyber-Physical Systems’ adheres to the principles of academic integrity and publication ethics standards defined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All complaints about possible violations are considered impartially, confidentially, and with respect for each party's right to explanation.

Complaints may come from authors, reviewers, readers, members of the editorial board, or any other individuals and must contain sufficient evidence or specific examples of possible violations.

Upon receipt of a complaint, the editorial board conducts a preliminary review. If the violation appears to be serious, an editorial committee is formed to investigate. The author(s) or other parties involved are given the opportunity to provide written explanations.

The decision is made by the editorial board or editor-in-chief, taking into account the materials provided. Depending on the nature of the violation, the following measures may be applied: corrections, publication of a retraction, withdrawal of the scientific article, refusal to publish, or temporary suspension of the author from submitting new materials.

All decisions are made in writing, and the parties are notified of the results of the review. The editorial board may refer the materials to the author's institution or to the relevant ethical or legal authorities if the violation is serious.

Suggestions or complaints should be sent to the journal's email address journal.acps@gmail.com. All messages will be reviewed within thirty working days. However, depending on the complexity of the complaint, additional time will be required to complete the investigation.

The complaint should be concise, specific and contain sufficient data to demonstrate any possible breach of publication ethics. If possible, additional documents supporting the specific claim should also be provided.

Personal complaints against authors, editors, reviewers or the editorial board of the journal will be responded to with an explanation of why the complaint was deemed to be outside the scope of the journal's responsibility. In addition, the journal refrains from conducting an investigation when complaints are submitted in an offensive, threatening, or defamatory manner.
