The bilingual scientific journal Historical and Cultural Studies was founded in 2014.

It comes out once a year. The deadline for submitting articles to the journal is June 15, every year.

The journal is intended to promote the theoretical and practical development of historical, cultural, museum, and monument protection research. In particular, it is a publication of research and reviews, which deals with issues and problems of historical memory, archeology, ethnography, local history, special historical disciplines, personalities, oral and everyday history, promotion and preservation of cultural heritage, history of museums and their collections, history of archives .

It is included in the list of scientific professional editions of Ukraine by Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, order number №1604 від 22.12. 2016 року.
