On the importance of a detailed study of the geoid to characterize the state of the earth's crust.

By the example of the Carpathian region, it is shown that the residual local undulations of the geoid correlate well with the deep structure, in particular, they are a good characteristic of the deviation of individual blocks of the earth's crust from isostatic equilibrium, since they agree well with the anomalies of the Mohorovicic surface.
