In this report, I have deduced the formulas (7), (10) and (17) for defining the height mean errors of successive points of the level circuit, with different length o f level section. The problem has been resolved by strict and approximate adjustment obtaining the same result. It has been proved that in this case the approximate adjustment gives identical results as the strict one.
