In this paper the existing demands and interests to the conception of the multipurpose cadastre are analyzed, which analysis is based on studies of situations in several countries around the world. The paper also studies the influence on multipurpose cadastre of such factors as global changes, technological development, requirements from the state and customer demands. Based on the information from private sector, government agencies and some international organizations, it is proved that the multipurpose cadastre forms potentially important state asset and deserves to be implemented in the state.
