The goal of the journal is to publish original studies that advance the field of instrumentation and measurement.
The main program objectives magazine: the objective of our journal is the implementation of the efficient IT technologies enriched by the “measurement component", in everyday life independently of areas (science, industry, health-care, etc.). Therefore, basing on reliable data of measuring instruments, the published articles focus on both scientific novelty and practical value. It is the metrology itself which determines algorithm of operating the microcontrollers assuring the exact and precise work of the complex control systems as the low-leveled constituents of CPS.
The tasks of the journal “Measuring Equipment and Metrologyand” are to:
- promote the advances of new theoretical models and methods that improve the accuracy, reliability, and reproducibility of measurements in all areas of application of instrumentation and measurement;
- develop and disseminate innovative measurement techniques by publish novel studies of sensors, instruments, and systems for precise measurements, data acquisition, signal processing, and calibration across multiple disciplines;
- ensure traceability and standardization to facilitate international efforts toward metrological traceability, uncertainty estimation, and calibration methods;
- serve as a bridge between theory and praxis and encourage works that connect fundamental measurement principles with real-world industrial, biomedical, and environmental praxis;
- promote automation and digitalization in measurement, including intelligent measurement systems, ai-based data analysis, digital twins, cyber-physical systems and internet of things;
- push forward methods of measurement uncertainty evaluation, error modeling, data fusion, and quality assurance;
- support multidisciplinary collaboration with physics, electronics, computer science, materials engineering, and life sciences;
- serve as a forum for international communication between experts from different countries.
