LEGISLATIVE MECHANISMS FOR PRESERVING BIODIVERSITY AND COMBATING INVASIVE FLORA AS A CONDITION FOR THE ECOLOGICAL SAFETY OF LANDSCAPES

The paper examines legislative mechanisms for biodiversity conservation and combating invasive flora as key instruments for ensuring the ecological safety of landscapes. Emphasis is placed on the need to improve the regulatory framework in the field of environmental protection, taking into account current environmental challenges. It analyzes existing national and international legal acts that regulate biodiversity conservation, as well as the specifics of the legal regime for managing invasive plant species.

MONITORING SYSTEM FOR THE POPULATION STATUS OF RARE AND ENDANGERED FAUNA SPECIES IN UKRAINIAN NATURE RESERVES

The article describes the process and results of developing a model for assessing the risk and causes of extinction of rare fauna species in the reserves of the western part of Ukraine, considering specific environmental conditions of the region. An information model of the system has been developed, which includes the collection of data from GPS devices and mapping resources to create an interactive map with population indicators.

ECOLOGICAL AND GENETIC MONITORING OF THE AGRO - AND BIODIVERSITY OF THE COASTAL ZONE OF WESTERN GEORGIA

The intensity of heavy metals, natural and anthropogenic radionuclides are studied in the cultivated plants and soil in the vicinity of the western coast of Georgia. It is shown that the intensity of their accumulation depends on the type of plant, the place of sampling and the ecological zone. The highest rate of natural radionuclides is 40K, and the lowest - 226Ra, from the technogenic radionuclides the high-quality activeness is characterized to 137Cs, and its accumulation is the highest in the soil. From the hard metals, the plants most actively absorb lead and cadmium.
