CALCULATION OF THE AVERAGED SPECIFIC ABSORPTION RATE OF THE HUMAN ORGANISM BASED ON THE CYLINDRICAL ANTENNA MODEL

International recommendations and standards for radiofrequency (RF) dosimetry of the human body use the body-averaged specific absorption coefficient (WBA-SAR) as an approximate indicator for quantifying body temperature increase. This paper proposes an analysis of the RF dosimetry of the human body during irradiation of a grounded body in the far zone of EM radiation in the frequency range of 1-200 MHz based on the cylindrical antenna model. The human body is represented by a homogeneous cylindrical monopole antenna with losses.
