POLYPROPYLENE COMPOSITES WITH FINELY DISPERSED MODIFIED SILICATE FILLER

The influence of the nature of the fillers based on polyvinylpyrrolidone and precipitated sodium liquid glass on the morphology and properties of polypropylene has been established. The modification of polypropylene with polymer-silicate fillers contributes to a change in the morphology of the composites, in particular, an increase in the degree of crystallinity and a decrease in the average size of crystallites are noted.

INVESTIGATION OF INFLUENCE OF CONDITIONS OF OBTAINING PA6/MMT NANOCOMPOSITES ON THEIR THERMAL PROPERTIES

The influence of additional thermal and thermomechanical treatment of PA6/MMT nanocomposites obtained from the formic acid solution on their heat resistance and technological properties was investigated. Thermal analysis established that heating the nanocomposite to a temperature of 250 ºС and treating it on a capillary plastometer IIRT at a temperature of 230 ºС increases the degree of crystallinity and heat resistance of the samples.

RESEARCH OF NANOCOMPOSITE BASED ON POLYVINYL ALCOHOL BY DIFFERENTIAL SCANNING CALORIMETRY

The methods of obtaining structured and water-soluble nanocomposite films based on polyvinyl alcohol and intercalated montmorillonite are presented in the paper. The structure and thermophysical characteristics of the obtained films were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry. It was found that the modification of polyvinyl alcohol by intercalated montmorillonite reduces the degree of crystallinity of the obtained nanocomposites but significantly increases their heat resistance.
